This stunning tweed jacket with wide lapel and three-quarter length sleeves is featured in the book, No. 14: Fall by Kim Hargreaves. Double Moss Stitch combined with a beautiful tweed yarn makes the highly textured fabric come to life. The Heather Jacket is knit flat in pieces and then seamed together after blocking. Instructions are provided to make covered buttons as well.
This pattern uses Felted Tweed DK, a favorite among Fair-Isle Knitters due to its light DK weight and beautiful tweed effect in 40 glorious colors. The combination of 50% lightly-felted wool, 25% viscose and 25% alpaca makes it supremely easy to block.
Book Gift Set includes No. 14: Fall by Kim Hargreaves (printed pattern inside), 6 buttons, and selected yarn. Sizes with similar yarn counts are combined for kit purposes only. Pattern comes in 8 individual sizes.
