One of our favorite designers, Elena Nodel, created Chance of Snow for those cold, wintry days when you require an extra layer. Chance of Snow is a gorgeous, elegant, and very feminine design. It has a modified top down raglan construction and features simple (or not so simple) cables. The garment’s length is very easy to customize. This cardigan can be made with long or short sleeves and is available in 10 sizes! (please note that some kit sizes are combined with similar # of skeins. You will be able to make any of the sizes in the grouping)
Child sized version of this design is called Spun Sugar (Coming Soon!)
Kit includes pattern & selected yarn. For yarn winding services, click here.
DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Sweet Aran by Colour Adventures (100% Merino Wool; 115g/200yds): 5 (6, 7, 7/8, 8, 9, 10) Skeins. This yarn has been temporarily discontinued and may return at a later date.
ALTERNATE YARN: Classic Worsted by O-Wool (100% Certified Organic Merino Wool; 50g/99yds): 10 (12, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19) Skeins. This USA spun & dyed yarn is quickly taking the states by storm! It creates plush, dense, extremely warm fabrics and offers outstanding stitch definition. Due to its twist and 4-ply construction, it wears extremely well. PRE-ORDER now available in all colors. Please contact us prior to placing your order for color availability, and allow at least 5 business days for shipping to your location.
ALTERNATE YARN: Lamb's Pride Worsted by Brown Sheep Co. (85% Wool / 15% Mohair; 113g/190 yds): 5 (6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10) Skeins. Use Sandy Heather to match images. This yarn is made in the USA from the fleece to the mill! The mohair adds a touch of shine and slight heathering in the yarn for a lovely texture on this great, long lasting fabric.
