This versatile wrap can be worn several ways: belted or open, with a shorter collar and a longer vest (as shown) or turned upside down for an oversized collar. This vest is simple and fast to crochet and is the perfect last-minute project, worked in Super Bulky yarn. It is a dramatic statement piece. This wrap used all but a tiny ball of the suggested yarn. If you would like to go around the armholes to reinforce them and make a border to clean up the edges, please buy 1 extra skein. If one wanted those touches and didn’t want a 4th skein cut back on the length you make the front panels and that should leave enough yarn.
Yarn Kit includes only selected yarn. Please go to www.knit1la.com and click "Crochet: Premium Patterns" to purchase directly from Karen Clements. This kit makes a wonderful gift for the knitter who loves Outlander!
DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Magnum by Cascade Yarns (100% Wool; 250g/123yds): 3 Skeins. Shown in Doeskin Heather. This 100% Wool yarn is warm, long wearing, and beautiful! PRE-ORDER available in any color. Please allow at least 5 business days for pre-order shipping to your location.
ALTERNATE YARN: Bulky by Blue Sky Fibers (50% Alpaca / 50% Wool; 100g/45yd): 8 Skeins. This LUXE yarn has an amazingly soft hand and charming natural or pastel colors.
