The Massachusetts Ave Pullover from Interweave Knits Fall 2018 sports cascading smocked cables that form diamonds filled with garter stitch and texture. Worked from the top down in Reverse Stockinette Stitch, the pullover features set-in sleeves and a neckline shaped with short-rows. The decorative front creates the illusion of a smaller waist due to the triangular inset of diamonds.
The front and back of this pullover are worked from the top down flat to the underarm and then joined, and the body is worked in the round. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armhole and the sleeves are worked in the round from the top down with a short-row sleeve cap.

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Woolstok by Blue Sky Fibers (100% Fine Highland Wool; 50g/123 yds): 8 (9, 10, 11, 12) Skeins. Shown in Red Rock. This Peruvian wool is highly prized for its rich hues and heathered tones. Yarn Loop will substitute 150g skeins when available so that you have less ends to weave in.
