Who is ready for the fall season? Something about the slow pace and less time outside appeals to me …wait…it’s more knitting time! As kids go back to school and summer holidays and activities wind up, we get a chance to go back to knitting and spend some quality time with needles, yarns, coffee and a favorite podcast! The Tilted Cowl was originally a mystery knit along and is full of easy stitches, no charts, no short rows and NO cast on (well very, very small one!). The Tilted Cowl has an interesting construction with beautiful colorplay, too.
The MKAL thread is here if you would like to see progress photos.

ALTERNATE FADE YARN: La Jolla by Baah Yarn (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 55g/200 yds MINI): 1 Mini in Color A, 1 Mini is Color B, 1 Mini in Color C. Blends beautifully with Malabrigo, too!
ALTERNATE YARN: Sock by Malabrigo (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 25g/110 yds MINI): 2 Mini skeins in each color. This gorgeous kettle dyed yarn is perfect for the Tilted Cowl because the gentle color variations accentuate the patterning. Try a kit with a striking variegated yarn like Archangel in one of the 3 sections to add a lot of visual play.
