This go-to cardigan is worked from the bottom up in a worsted weight, 50/50 Alpaca Wool blend which provides warmth, a slight halo and a bit of drape. The cardigan features a moss stitch, raglan shaping, and a beautiful cabled collar to keep things casual but cozy. This stand alone cardigan is beautifully detailed in Texture: Exploring Stitch Patterns in Knitwear by Hannah Fettig.  Available in 9 sizes.

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Owl by Quince & Co. (50% Wool / 50% Alpaca; 50g/120yds): 9 (10/11, 12, 13)  (15, 16, 17, 19) Skeins. Shown in Albertine 306.

ALTERNATE YARN: Umiña by Mirasol (50% Baby Alpaca / 50% Extrafine Merino Wool; 100g/247 yds): 4 (5, 6, 7) (7, 8, 9, 9) Skeins.  South American fibers with a beautiful twist and very little halo.

ALTERNATE YARN: Rios by Malabrigo (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/210 yds):  5 (6, 7, 8) (9, 9, 10, 11) Skeins. Please click the link to see all colors availalble.  Enjoy the easy care and softness of Superwash Merino wool in kettle-dyed colors.  Malabrigo is famous for their dyeing process which creates tonal variations in the finished yarn.  Because Rios does not have any alpaca content, this yarn will not have the drape of the original yarn.

NEEDLES: Size US 5 / 3.75mm & US 7 /4.5 mm 32" circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge. This pattern uses the Magic Loop Method and does not specify Double Points, but please use whichever method suits you best.
