This colorful pillow is inspired and created in partnership with the William Morris Society. This design by Debbie Bliss & Chloé Elizabeth Birch exhibits a grand floral design with borders on one side and stripes of colorwork on the reverse with a button closure. Each piece is made independently and then an I-cord edge is added to assemble the cushion.

Kit includes printed & PDF pattern as well as selected yarn & buttons and neatly packaged in a Morris patterned box.

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Morris DK by West Yorkshire Spinners (50% Bluefaced Leicester Wool / 25% Bluefaced Kerry Hill Wool / 25% Masham Wool; 50g/122yds): 4 Skeins MC (Main Color), 2 Skeins Color A, 1 Skein in each Color B & C. Shown in colors Linseed, Clover, Marigold & Mint.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: approximately 20" x 20"
YARDAGE: approximately 1,102 yds
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate to Advanced Knitting - colorwork (Intarsia & Stranded), reading charts, button band. Remember to twist floats together when changing colors. Duplicate Stitch is also used for small color sections to reduce floats on the backside.

NEEDLES: Size US 3 / 3.25 mm & US 6 / 4mm straight needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
OTHER TOOLS: Tapestry needle, Stitch Markers (recommended), 4x buttons with .75" circumference
GAUGE: 22 sts x 28 rows = 4"in Stockinette Stitch. It is vital to meet the recommended gauge to ensure that you have enough yarn & match finished size.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Machine Wash Warm. Reshape whilst damp. Do not Tumble Dry. You will felt this yarn if you agitate or twist the yarn while wet!
