Yarn Loop provides knitting and crocheting project kits and products designed for your specialty and skill level.  We offer pattern kits for garments, home goods, and other smaller projects like accessories & toys.

We love to hear from our visitors and fellow enthusiasts, and we encourage you to tell us about yarns or patterns you particularly love on our Facebook page or Instagram page.  Your suggestions guide our product offerings to help us become the best little shop in Texas.

Our main shop, now located in Austin, Texas, in the Steiner Ranch / North Lakeway area is open by appointment only in order to serve you with undivided attention.  Please feel free to bring your friends or any children interested in the art to your scheduled appointment.  We love showing our latest and greatest items to knitting groups and will accommodate up to 8 group members at a scheduled meeting time.

A special note: We are in a transitional phase & temporary location while our main shop is under development with the opening scheduled in early 2019!  Please call for an appointment or location directions.

Our original shop is located on the southern edge of McCamey, Texas, and has a rather unique and special history.  The building that we occupy was originally built as a Christian church in the 1990's.  A large cross is embedded in the brickwork on the face of the building, making us really easy to find!  This is probably the only little shop in Texas that has "blessed" yarn.  Again, please call to schedule an appointment.  We are typically available on weekends and at the end of the month for viewings and meetings.

Special Services: Yarn Loop also caters to knitting & crochet groups in the Greater Austin Area by bringing a selection of our offerings directly to your group meeting.  Please email us your meeting time and interests so that we may inspire your group to try new techniques and new fibers!  We also enjoy doing demonstrations and teaching beginners, too.
