DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Sweater by Rainbow Heirloom (100% Merino Wool; 115g/250yds): 1 (1, 1, 2, 2) Skeins.  Shown in Princess Rockstar.  OR any fingering, DK, Worsted or Bulky Weight yarn with a good bit of merino wool content for elasticity.

ALTERNATE FINGERING YARN: O-Wash Fingering by O-Wool (100% Organic Washable Merino Wool; 100g/428yds): 1 skein for all sizes (you will have extra yarn).  This GOTS washable Merino Wool yarn is treated in a much gentler process than traditional superwash yarn, creating a non-felting wool.  Local Northeastern US mills spin the South American Merino and USA dye houses then use low impact dyes to create an environmentally friendly yarn in luscious solid colors.

ALTERNATE FINGERING YARN: Sock by Malabrigo (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/440yds): 1 skein for all sizes (you will have extra yarn).  This kettle-dyed yarn has a gorgeous variegation that adds depth and interest to the finished fabric.  Washable, Uruguayan yarn is wonderfully soft and eye-catching.

ALTERNATE DK YARN: Arroyo by Malabrigo (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/335yds): 1 skein for all sizes (you will have extra yarn).  A thicker weight of Malabrigo with exactly the same dyeing process as Sock.  Also available in a few unique colors just for Arroyo.

ALTERNATE WORSTED YARN:  Rios by Malabrigo (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/220 yds): 1 skein for all sizes (you will have leftover yarn)  Worsted weight kettle-dyed Malabrigo in superwash base similar to Sock.
