The Zoe hat is simple, trendy and a truly posh accessory that a beginner should be able to complete.  It could be worn as a slouchy or a beanie, just fold the ribbing if you prefer closer-fitting hat.  Using Moonshine, a luxurious alpaca/wool/silk blend gives this hat an elegant and warm finish.  Add a big fur pompom for an extra feminine touch.  4" faux OnLine Pompom with snap, 6" faux fur Rowan Pompom with ribbon & 6" real fur Schildkraut Pompom with ribbon now available.

We absolutely love Alexander Davidoff's work, so please visit her blog at studiodavidoff.blogspot.com to see her work in Vogue Knitting, Knitter's Magazine & her personal Ravelry Store!

Kit includes pattern, selected yarn & removable pom pom (optional). Please choose from the pompoms currently in stock.  Please add pompom selection in 'Notes' at checkout.  For yarn winding services, click here

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Moonshine by Juniper Moon Farm (40% Alpaca / 40% Wool / 20% Silk; 100g/197yds): 1 Skein. Shown in Conch Shell (this color is discontinued).

ALTERNATE YARN: Local by O-Wool (50% Organic Merino Wool / 50% USA Alpaca; 100g/240 yds): 1 Skein.  Local is a single ply yarn with a slight handspun twist which has a slight heather to the coloring.  PRE-ORDER now available.  Please allow 7 business days for your order to arrive at your location

ALTERNATE YARN: Merino Worsted by Malabrigo (100% Merino Wool; 100g/210yds): 1 Skein.  Merino Worsted is a beautiful kettle-dyed yarn that does not have any silk content (so it won't have any sheen).  It is a slightly thicker weight and will make a slightly bulkier hat.

NEEDLES: Size US 7 / 4.5mm 16" circular needle and set Double Points as well as Size US 5 / 3.75mm 16" circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge
OTHER TOOLS: Cable Needle, Stitch Markers, Tapestry Needle, pompom
SKILL LEVEL: Advanced Beginner

GAUGE: 20 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch
