This is the 5th annual No Rhinebeck? No problem! cowl designed by the ever talented SweaterFreak Knits.  Originally released as a Mystery Knit Along, the full pattern has now been released for your knitting pleasure.  This cowl combines punchy mosaic with practical dickie-style flaps worked in two different colors.

Not a fan of flaps? No problem! Classic ending is also included.

Let’s talk details!  The cowl is simple, perfect for an advancing knitter who is progressing towards intermediate patterns.  There are no short rows, no lace, no stranded colorwork and no complicated techniques.

It will, however, be a fun engaging knit with a modern and wearable result you can keep or gift away!  The pattern looks best in high contrast, but low contrast options could work too! You could combine solid MC with speckled or long-color repeat yarns as CC. Of course, two high contrast solids is always a safe and classic choice, too.

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Cascade 220 by Cascade Yarns (100% Peruvian Highland Wool; 100g/220yds): 1 Skein MC & 1 Skein CC.  Shown in colors Camel & Black.

ALTERNATE YARN: Woolstok by Blue Sky Fibers (100% Fine Peruvian Highland Wool; 50g/123 yds): 2 Skeins MC & 2 Skein CC.

NEEDLES: Size US 6 / 4mm 16"circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge 
OTHER TOOLS: Stitch Marker, Tapestry Needle, scrap yarn or stitch holders
GAUGE: 20 sts x 28 rows = 4" in Stockinette, after blocking
