An original cowl that shows lightweight Techno in a sculptural way. Techno is a very lightweight yet extremely warm and soft yarn that is composed of a silk casing around Baby Alpaca and Merino Wool fibers. Because the fibers are blown in, the yarn blooms after blocking, and has a slightly fuzzy halo.

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Techno by Blue Sky Fibers (68% Baby Alpaca / 22% Silk / 10% Extra Fine Merino; 50 grams/120yds): 3 skeins. Shown in the color Smoke. This yarn has been discontinued and cannot be restocked.
NEEDLES: Size US 7 / 4.5mm circular or straight needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
OTHER TOOLS: Three 1″ buttons & coordinating thread, Stitch holder, Tapestry needle
SKILL LEVEL: Advanced Beginner
GAUGE: 19 sts and 25 rows = 4″ in Stockinette St., 28 sts and 26 rows = 4″ unstretched in Rib Stitch
