This roomy bag is knit a single piece, in the round, from the bottom up. The closure is a simple celtic knot which slides up and down the two straps. Instructions are provided for felting the bag in your washing machine, too. Please avoid superwash wool yarns as these yarns will not felt properly.

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Eco+ by Cascade Yarns (100% Wool; 250g/478yds): 1 Skein.
ALTERNATE YARN: Chunky by Malabrigo (100% Merino Wool; 100g/104 yds): 5 Skeins. Beautiful variegated colors on super soft merino wool.
ALTERNATE YARN: Lamb's Pride Bulky by Brown Sheep Co. (85% USA Wool / 15% Mohair; 113g/125 yds: 4 Skeins. USA grown, milled & dyed. Mohair adds a shimmer and heathered effect to the yarn, plus a little fuzziness to the finished product.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: approximately 10" Diameter x 11" Tall
YARDAGE: 450 yds
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate - felting, I-cord
NEEDLES: Size US 10 / 6mm 24" circular needle & set of Double Points, or size needed to obtain gauge
OTHER TOOLS: Stitch marker, tapestry needle
GAUGE: 14 sts = 4" in stockinette stitch, unfelted.
