A softer take on the classic Fedora, this hat is knit in the round, then felted in a washing machine.  Add a ribbon or band around the hat for extra flair.  Dress up for a night out on the town or add the finishing touch to your Halloween costume, too.  Complete instructions are provide for knitting, felting and shaping the hat.

"I have found that many of my customers are accomplished knitters but are unsure of their felting skills. There are many little tips that can help with felting that are too varied or random to include in every pattern. [The monthly] newsletter will answer direct questions and offer some tips that will help you achieve the outcome you want.   Thanks!" --Cindy
