This gorgeous sweater is found in the March 2014 issue of Knitscene.  Simple slip stitches are delicately arranged as diamonds in an easy to remember repeat to make the yoke and accents on the sweater.  This sock weight yarn is great for a brisk fall or a mild winter garment.  This fun pattern will fly quickly off of the needles in this top down construction.  Three-quarter sleeves, a generous tunic length, and pops of color are sure to bring compliments by the dozens.

Yarn Loop has carefully selected the following color combinations based upon different skin tones and the brightness of the finished garment.  While it is fantastic in the neon yellow, many people just don't want a sweater quite so bold.

Kit includes pattern and selected yarn in Main Color (MC), Contrasting Color 1 (CC1) & Contrasting Color 2 (CC2).

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Tosh Sock by Madelinetosh (100% Merino Wool; 395yds): MC- 2 (2, 2, 2, 3, 3) skeins, CC1-1 (1, 1, 1, 2, 2) skein(s), & CC2-2 (2, 2, 2, 3, 3) skeins. Shown in Edison Bulb, Norway Spruce & Vintage Sari (Edison Bulb is the only color currently available; others are discontinued.)

ALTERNATE YARN: Sock Yarn by Malabrigo (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/440yds): MC- 2 (2, 2, 2, 3, 3) skeins, CC1-1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 2) skein(s), & CC2-2 (2, 2, 2, 2, 3).  This is a perfect match to the original Madelinetosh yarn specified.  It is Superwash Merino Wool (like the original Tosh Sock yarn; Madelinetosh changed their formula in 2015) with the great color varigation and dyeing found in kettle-dyed yarn.  And, Malabrigo provides an extra 45 yards per skein over Madelinetosh!  Please feel free to request a special color selection with your 3 favorite colors by contacting us
