Saco Stripes by Pam Allen

Pam Allen’s Saco Stripes is an easy-to-make linen tank top with an A-line shape which is flattering in the hot summer months. Piece is worked back and forth in two pieces from bottom edge to top. Shoulders and side edges are seamed. Armhole and neck edge are finished with a one round edging.

Kit includes pattern and yarn. Pattern is available in print (includes digital file, too).

Fingering Weight

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Sparrow by Quince & Co. (100% Linen; 50g/168yds): 3 (4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6) Skeins in Main Color (MC) + 1 Skein Color B. Shown in Sans & Pigeon

ALTERNATE YARN: Lino by BC Garn (100% Linen; 50g/168yds): 3 (4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6) Skeins and 1 Skein of Color B.

ALTERNATE YARN: Cotton Ball by Schoppel Wolle (100% Long Staple Greek Cotton; 100g/459 yds): 2 (2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3) Skeins in Main Color (MC) and 1 Skein in Color B. This cotton yarn will be more opaque and less translucent than the sample shown due to the fiber content.
