This lightweight newborn baby hat makes the perfect gift, and it is knit with soft organic sport weight cotton. This tiny hat is so precious and oh-so lovely for the newborns in your life. The new Stockington Striped Hat is a fast and easy project for your knitting needles. Organic Cotton is ideal for newborns and babies and it's super soft, lightweight, and perfect for sensitive skin. This hat is quickly finished in a single evening and is great for advanced beginner knitters, using only two colors.
Alternatively, the 21 colors of Organic Cotton Sport can be used to make a bright striped baby hat. It is knit using 6 grams or less of each color. The stripes are created by changing colors in a 3, 2, 1 repeating pattern. If you don't have every color, find your favorite colors from your stash and follow the repeating pattern by switching colors as needed.
Pattern includes single stripe version only, but let your imagination run wild by using the written pattern shaping and making your stripes your way. Pattern does not include pompom instructions.
