The Trimont Snood can be worn three ways; as a cowl, a capelet or a hood. Knit in the round from the bottom up in lustrous wool, with decreases providing a touch of shaping, so it’s wider at the shoulders and narrower at the top. The seed stitch panel adds visual interest.

Worsted/Aran Weight
DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Woolstok by Blue Sky Fibers (100% Fine Highland Wool; 50g /123yds or 150g/370yds): 4 50g skeins. Shown in Golden Meadow. We will substitute 150g skein for 3 skeins if available. Yarn is made in Peru.
NEEDLES: Size US 11 / 8mm 24″ circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
OTHER TOOLS: Stitch marker & Tapestry needle
SKILL LEVEL: Advanced Beginner
GAUGE: In stockinette stitch, 14 sts and 20 rows = 4″
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
Bottom Circumference: 42½” / Top Circumference: 32″ / Length: 18″
