This festive holiday blanket is the epitome of Christmas knitting that will keep you warm throughout the coldest night.  Alternating rows of Christmas trees, snowflakes and intricate patterns in bold red, green and ecru decorate this large 55" x 56" heritage treasure.  The beautiful Fair Isle blanket is made with The Croft Aran yarn, a 100% Shetland Wool which is a pure Scottish fiber celebrated for its fineness, warmth and strength.  The Croft has a soft and silky handle that retains a lot of durability particularly suited to home goods and housewares.

The rural agricultural community on the Shetland Islands has a long and prestigious history of rearing Britain's most northerly native sheep and collecting their sustainable, high-quality wool.  Known as crofting, this practice is integral to the landscape, cultural heritage & economy.

Kit includes FREE printed & PDF pattern as well as selected yarn and neatly packaged in a re-usable blanket bag. For Ball Winding services click here. To view free pattern from West Yorkshire Spinners, click here.
