The Ebadi Scarf by ND Designs is part of the Make It Now collection, honoring Shirin Ebadi (recipient of the Peace Prize, 2003). The Ebadi Scarf features stitch textures -- mesh, cables, seed, eyelets, and knit-purl combinations in embossed relief -- in a light sportweight fabric and soft colors that highlight March’s transitional weather.
The Ebadi scarf is knit lengthwise, with a mesh-stitch panel shrinking at one end of the row while growing at the other, separated by a constant panel of seed stitch.
The stitch pattern has yarnovers and decreases worked on right-side rows and twisted stitches on the wrong-side rows. This wrap is worked sideways, from one long side to the other, with a pattern section at each end of the row and seed stitch in the center. A circular needle is used to accommodate the number of stitches. Please note the stitch pattern is charted.
Kit includes pdf & printed pattern and selected yarn. For Ball Winding services click here.
