The Ebadi Scarf by ND Designs is part of the Spring ‘21 Make It Now collection, honoring Shirin Ebadi (recipient of the Peace Prize, 2003). The Ebadi Scarf features stitch textures -- mesh, cables, seed, eyelets, and knit-purl combinations in embossed relief -- in a light sportweight fabric and soft colors that highlight March’s transitional weather.
The Ebadi scarf is knit lengthwise, with a mesh-stitch panel shrinking at one end of the row while growing at the other, separated by a constant panel of seed stitch.
The stitch pattern has yarnovers and decreases worked on right-side rows and twisted stitches on the wrong-side rows. This wrap is worked sideways, from one long side to the other, with a pattern section at each end of the row and seed stitch in the center. A circular needle is used to accommodate the number of stitches. Please note the stitch pattern is charted.
Kit includes pdf & printed pattern and selected yarn. For Ball Winding services click here.
