Worked from the top down this cowl flares out to create the perfect fit to keep you warm. You begin with knitting and purling and then proceed to a fun diamond pattern that uses slipped stitches and lace to create delicious texture. Finally there is snuggly brioche that flares out to create the shape.

 Worsted Weight

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Rios by Malabrigo  (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/210 yds): 2 Skeins.  Kettle-Dyed Superwash Merino Wool for subtle to striking variegated colors.  Made in Uruguay.  Shown in Yerba & Pearl

ALTERNATE YARN: Seis Cabos by Malabrigo (100% Superfine Merino Wool; 100g/220 yds): 2 Skeins.  Pure merino wool dyed in Malabrigo's striking colorways.  Colors will appear slightly muted compared to superwash, but this yarn tightly plied with 6 plies and unlikely to pill.

YARDAGE: Approximately 420 yds worsted weight
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate to Advanced - basic brioche, long tail cast-on

NEEDLES: Size US 6 / 4mm & IUS 7 / 4.5mm 24-30" circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
