Slope is an adorable sweater for little girls age 2-12 with a touch of lacework around the hems and up the back. Arroyo by Malabrigo is a sport weight superwash merino wool that is perfect for children's projects due to its softness and easy care label. Because of the kettle-dying process, the yarn has a wonderful varigated look when knitted.
Slope is knit in four pieces—the front and back are knit flat and seamed together at the sides and shoulders, giving the loose-fitting garment the necessary structure. Three-quarter length sleeves, broader at the shoulders and narrowing towards the cuff, are knit in the round and set in.
