From the Abstraction Collection, Contradiction is a slightly heart-shaped triangle shawl featuring broken ribbing and wavy stripes. It is worked from the top down and is fully reversible, written instructions only. The design is suitable for sport to worsted weight yarns; just be sure to adjust your yarn requirements accordingly when making substitutions.
Melanie states, "It is a contradiction for me, because I typically don’t prefer the wrong side look of knitted fabric, but I like it on this shawl!"

DESIGNER RECOMMENDED YARN: Chicadee in Quince & Co. (100% Wool; 50g/181yds): 2 Skeins Main Color (MC), 1 Skein Color B, 1 Skein Color C. Shown in colors Carrie's Yellow, Sabine & Egret.
ALTERNATE YARN: O-Wash Sport by O-Wool (100% Organic Washable Merino Wool; 100g/304yds): 1 Full Skein MC, Color B & Color C. Beautiful tonal solids dyed & milled in the USA. This yarn has been discontinued and will not be available soon.
ALTERNATIVE YARN: Andorra by Kelbourne Woolens (60% Merino Wool / 20% Highland Wool / 20% Mohair; 50g / 185 yds): 2 Skeins MC, 1 Skein Color B & 1 Skein Color C. This ultra warm shawl will have a very slight halo due to the mohair content. Available in beautiful heathered colors.
